Clean up efforts are being done by the following team, clubs and individuals. Way to go!

A hats off to The MinnMan Triathlon club. This Minnesota tri club gathered together on one of their cities most heavily traveled rails to trial route (Greeenway trail ) in 30 degree temps to do there part. It took a few good hours, but the crew was successful and cleaned 75% of the trail system they set out to tackle.

Here's their story:

We had about 25 people all bundled up. There was not much in
the way of snow to speak of, but it was damp and a rather chilly 30 degrees.
There was also quite the wind a gusting. I must say that we are all pretty
good troopers for going out, but we are in Minnesota so it is to be
expected. The 53 X 11 coffee was just what we needed to get us warm and
energized for the clean up ahead. A few hours and many a trash bag later,
I'd say that we ended up cleaning up about 75% of the Greenway trail system.
This is a heavily traveled "rail to trail" network that spans most of the
city of Minneapolis and outlying suburbs. I think we will make this an
annual event, but perhaps a little earlier next year.

Thanks again for the inspiration and the coffee. Doubt we could have
ventured out in the cold without it.
